Syracuse University-Collection Development & Analysis Librarian

The Collection Development and Analysis Librarian (CDAL) curates the Libraries’ collections in alignment with the University’s academic, research, and creative needs. With liaison librarians and other collection development librarians, the CDAL explores, evaluates, negotiates, and proposes resources and strategies that support campus goals. This includes collection development activities such as developing and leading initiatives to gather data/feedback from users; staying abreast of new products and publishing developments; negotiating favorable prices/terms; making informed proposals for new resources and collection strategies; and reviewing collections and campus needs to re-direct resources and stay current. 

Salary/Pay Rate: $61,500 – $64,800
