Business Librarian, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH

The Business Librarian at The Ohio State University Libraries provides strategic direction and leads efforts to establish a programmatic approach to services, partnership development, and content delivery to the dynamic faculty, student body, and community of the world-class Fisher College of Business. The Librarian will be proactive, user-centered, and will create a wide-ranging support agenda for research and scholarship, as well as for teaching and learning. Collaboration and engagement will extend beyond the Fisher College of Business to include various business, technology, and social sciences communities and units, programs, and centers across the University. The Librarian will work with the Collections Strategist and others to ensure an efficient and dynamic approach to content acquisition, development, and delivery. The Librarian will actively engage with and advance efforts to foster diversity and inclusion in library, university, and professional contexts. The Librarian will have a capacity to thrive in a changing work environment and fulfill position expectations as outlined below.
