Special Collections Librarian: Collection and Resource Services Department in the Zach S. Henderson Library invites applications and nominations for the position of Special Collections Librarian and Assistant Professor.
 The Special  Collections Librarian plays a pivotal role in the library’s mission, working in a collaborative team environment to facilitate discovery and access to library collections, information, and knowledge for the student, researcher and scholar alike.
Position Description: Reporting to the Coordinator of Cataloging & Metadata,the Special Collections Librarian manages the special collections materials in preparation for digitization and deposit into a digital management system for access and discovery. The position requires continuation of a long-term project to review legacy collections for enhanced discovery through digital or print access. In addition,the Special Collections librarian serves as a departmental library liaison and provides reference assistance at the Library Information Desk as well as for the resources in Special Collections.The positionis a 12-month tenure track faculty appointment at the level of assistant professor,and the salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.The Special Collections librarian supervises one full-time staff member as well as student interns and student assistant.
