Responsibilities: Anderson University Nicholson Library invites applications for an Electronic Resources & Serials Librarian; this is a tenure-track faculty position. Work requires knowledge of cataloging and bibliographic principles for print and electronic serials; knowledge of current acquisitions practices and procedures for electronic and continuing resources; knowledge of discovery tools; experience in providing reference service, information literacy instruction and collection development.
Qualifications: This position requires a Master’s degree in library science from an ALA-accredited program and 1-2 years of experience in management of electronic resources, primarily in serials. Familiarity with OCLC’s WMS preferred. The successful candidate will be detailed-oriented with an ability to manage multiple projects; excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills; ability to learn and adapt to new technologies; strong written and oral communication skills; ability to work effectively both independently and in collaborative team environment; available to work evening and weekend hours as required.
