The New York Public Library is searching for an Acquisitions Coordinator of E-Resources and Serials to manage the balance between print-to-electronic resources/ materials. E-resource management is becoming increasingly complex, especially as print serials migrate to online versions. Managing the Electronic Resources Module, tracking and interpreting usage data, maintaining link resolving processes, and ensuring records are appropriately cataloged and discoverable are requiring much more time and coordination than in the past. The Acquisitions Coordinator will oversee the Acquisitions teams for Serials and E-Resources, manage projects related to serials and electronic resources, including coordinating vendor and staff activities, formulating and documenting procedures, and staff training. They will manage print serials and electronic resource records, including but not limited to: subscriptions, access set-up and maintenance, and licenses. They will also oversee analysis and statistical reporting of e-resources and serials to help evaluate current and future Electronic Resources purchases.
