Collections Analyst, OhioLINK, Columbus, Ohio

The Librarian 1, Collections Analysis and e-Resource Acquisitions works with the Deputy Director and Coordinator of E-licensing to develop processes for activating and managing consortial purchases and e-resources, including databases, e-journals, and e-books. The Librarian 1 will assist with trouble-shooting access problems reported by member library staff. Librarian 1 is responsible for tracking, reporting and analyzing usage, cost, and other data on consortial e-resource collections to support access, assessment, and decision-making for the OhioLINK consortium. The Librarian 1 works with the OhioLINK department staff and staff at member libraries to integrate data from multiple sources, including electronic resources reports from collection assessment products (e.g. GoldRush or other library Electronic Resource Management (ERM) products). The Librarian 1 is adept at data visualizations and representations, report-writing, and the development of a variety of data communications.
