Technical Librarian- Electronic Resources and Document Services, Sandia National Laboratories, Albuquerque, New Mexico

The Sandia National Laboratories Technical Library is seeking an innovative, highly motivated, energetic and forward-thinking librarian/information scientist to become part of its Technical Library Team.  The selected candidate will split their time supporting the functions of electronic resources and document services.

In the role of Electronic Resources Librarian, the selected candidate will support management in the purchasing and licensing of electronic materials; manage electronic subscriptions through electronic resource management applications such as SFX; collect usage statistics and create reports needed to manage and monitor electronic resource subscriptions; and provide customer access support and troubleshoot issues as needed.  In the role of Document Services Librarian, the selected candidate will manage the Library’s document services contract and self-service platform; provide user support; and research hard-to-locate document needs.  Professional librarians afforded the opportunity to work at Sandia will be actively engaged in ground-floor development of meeting the needs of Sandia’s researchers and management through the deliberate use and deployment of technology as a research and reporting tool.
