Kansas State University Libraries invite applications and nominations for the position of Copy Cataloging Supervisor. To support the University’s goal of becoming a top-50 public research university by 2025, this position will provide leadership for copy cataloging operations and directly supervise 3 copy cataloging full-time employees. The individual will work closely with vendors used by Metadata and Preservation Department as well as the Content Development and Acquisitions Department to ensure seamless flow of copy cataloging from point of order to cataloging. The successful candidate will analyze copy cataloging work flows in order to ensure optimal staffing. The individual will also serve as a member of the Metadata & Preservation Department Management Team.
