FAU Libraries seeks a Collection Development Librarian to assist in the selection and deselection of library materials , and assessment of the Libraries’ collections. Reporting to the Head of Collection Development, the Collection Development Librarian will identify and recommend library resources that support the university’s curricular, instructional, and research needs, establish and maintain open communications with faculty in assigned subject areas, and assist with the Libraries’ Gifts Program. The incumbent will work collaboratively with staff from all library departments and units including, but not limited to, Electronic Resources, Technical Services, Reference, and Access Services.
