Digitization Project Librarian, University of North Carolina, Charlotte, NC

The Digitization Project Librarian will research, adapt, and contribute to professional best practices in the digitization of cultural heritage collections for humanities scholarship; provide expertise and decision-making in the design and implementation of new and emerging digital imaging, digital audio reformatting, and metadata standards; provide oversight and training; develop workflows; lead in the coordination of activities with UNCC faculty
and community project partners; identify budgetary needs and draft budget revisions; participate in grant writing and reporting; hire and supervise project staff. The position will report to the Digital Programs Archivist at Atkins Library.
