The individual in this position will oversee the management of the Editorial Serials group, including, but not limited to ordering, tracking and claiming serials subscriptions (paid, complimentary, etc.). He/she will be responsible for guiding the development of strategies resulting in ongoing process improvements in department efficiency. This position requires the proven ability to work successfully within Editorial and cross-functionally with groups such as Product Management, Project Management, and Technology to ensure the efforts of the Serials team align with key business priorities. Required Qualifications: 2-3 years of exceptional leadership skills at the manager level MLS Degree Preferred Skills: MLS degree, with experience in Serials maintenance, preferred Experience working with publishers preferred Experience in an Editorial Production environment preferred. Strong business knowledge/acumen Action-oriented; ability to make decisions and implement quickly Proven track record of success working cross-functionally Proven track record of success working with Senior Management Ability to concisely create and deliver presentations Ability to coach and motivate team members to reach their full potential Strong and effective written and oral communication skills Ability to analyze and solve problems, multi-task, prioritize and delegate Knowledge of production controls, measurements and processes; large scale data entry procedures; database management Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excellent verbal communication; Excellent written communication; Leadership/supervisory experience; Positive attitude & team player; Strong analytical abilities Please apply online at http://careers.ebscohost.com.
