Truman State University is seeking applicants for the position of Catalog and Metadata Librarian at Pickler Memorial Library. Successful candidate will perform cataloging of library materials in all formats and languages and resolve complex cataloging problems; study, document, and provide support for cataloging functions of the library’s integrated library system (currently Innovative Interfaces’ Millennium); provide ongoing authority maintenance in a catalog shared with five other libraries; supervise copy cataloging and authority maintenance tasks performed by other library staff; write and maintain local cataloging procedures; assist with the investigation, selection, implementation and use of metadata standards for library projects; serve on library and campus-wide committees and perform other duties as assigned.
